Our School Council
Here at St Thomas More, we are proud of our school council and the efforts that
they make to ensure that our school is an enjoyable
place to learn where each and every individual feels valued, loved and listened to.
‘We make a difference’
Our motto is ‘We make a difference’ and that is exactly what our school councillors aim to do.
The council is made up of two representatives from each year group from Y2-Y6.
The council also includes a chair (the person to makes the final decision after discussions)
and a finance officer (the person to organise money and establish how much is needed for certain events).

School Council representatives meet once a week to discuss the different ways that they can make a difference
to the pupils in our school, our school community as well as the environment and the world that we live in.
There is a box located in our school within which children are invited to place questions,
suggestions and concerns which will be discussed in the weekly meeting and addressed by the council.
